LSSC monitoring Hurricane Elsa, Lakehawks asked to begin preparing

Lake-Sumter State College is actively monitoring information and reports regarding Hurricane Elsa. The College is coordinating with state and local emergency management officials to prepare for the possibility of impacts from Elsa.

At this time, no decision has been made regarding closing Lake-Sumter State College. We will provide regular updates through email, social media and as we have additional information.

If a decision to close the College is made, an announcement will be made through the LSSC Alert system. All faculty, staff and students are automatically enrolled in this system.
